Aleksandr Kosinets was elected Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian People's Congress of the seventh convocation.
In line with Article 32 of the Law "On the Belarusian People's Congress" and the Regulations of the Belarusian People's Congress, the Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian People's Congress:
– deals with matters that are within the purview of the Chairman of the Belarusian People's Congress on the instructions of the Chairman;
– puts forward proposals on the work plan of the Congress;
– gives instructions to the Secretariat of the Belarusian People's Congress related to meetings of the Belarusian People's Congress and its Presidium and on other relevant matters;
– interacts with delegates of the Congress to discuss their activities;
– fulfills other duties in accordance with the instructions of the Chairman of the Belarusian People's Congress, its Presidium.
